Chris Hughton, the coach of the Black Stars, stated that Ghana is fortunate to have a player like Mohammed Kudus.

After starting him in each of his first two games in charge of the Black Stars, the 64-year-old is ready to construct his team around the Ajax star.

In a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier, Hughton’s first game saw Ghana defeat Angola 1-0. In the corresponding match, the West Africans rallied from a goal down to draw with the Black Antelopes.
