According to American economist Prof. Hanke, Nana Addo is drowning Ghana in debt.
The revised debt was GH¢581.5 billion in June 2023, according to the November 2023 Summary of Economic and Financial Data, and it increased to GH¢584.4 billion ($53.0 billion) by August 2023.
