Augustine Arhinful, a former Ghana international, has disclosed how a few close associates he trusted mismanaged his aluminum company.
He claims that he was horribly let down by his lawyer, who was meant to assist him in protecting his investments, which ultimately caused his business to fail.
Arhinful was talking about the rising tendency of Ghanaian football players experiencing financial ruin upon retiring from the game.
He clarified that when these gamers trusted friends and relatives with their business, they frequently ended up letting them down.
“In the past, I was a major distributor of Nestle and Unilever in Ghana. Just ten or nine large distributors existed throughout all of Ghana, according to Arhinful’s interview with Onua FM, which Ghanaweb cited.
“If I tell you how much money came in, the business would not be here today because everyone I trusted with the money, including my lawyer, who was meant to assist us, went so far as to ruin the company with their own personal affairs. My business with a partner, an aluminum plant, completely failed.
