She claims that the Roman Catholic Church is well aware of the accusations made against Catholic priests but has been “covering it.”

Some internet users took offense at her suggestion that Catholic priests be permitted to get married in order to reduce the number of alleged sexual assaults committed by them.

“Can we Catholics follow suit and allow our priests to be married rather than leading immoral lifestyles like they do? Having babies, some raping girls and boys, and sodomizing them at the altar? It isn’t exemplary of Christ,” Bridget Otoo said on X.

After receiving criticism from some of her followers, she eventually had second thoughts. She apologized for her earlier suggestion that the men of God should be castrated rather than permitted to marry. According to her, it’s an extra precaution to make sure priests don’t have marital relationships.

 

“I apologize; in my attempt to be considerate, I suggested that Catholic priests be permitted to get married. In her second post, Bridget Otoo said, “I suggest we castrate them if they won’t change their pedophilia, sodomizing young boys at the alter, raping women, and having multiple children all over with the church covering it.”

Priests serving in the Catholic Church are required to maintain celibacy, which means they are not allowed to get married or have relations. This has been a centuries-old practice with historical roots.
