He made the most of the opportunity to thank the NDC for several local development programs and to ask for more when the NDC won back power in the 2024 election.
Every year, Penyi Nugoryiza is celebrated by the chiefs and residents of Penyi, one of the four traditional communities in the Ketu North Municipality in the Volta Region.
Mahama visited a number of locations in the Volta Region last week to evaluate the level of destruction caused by the Akosombo dam overflow on communities along the Volta River.
