The founder and head of the Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyinasare, will be dealt with by his community, according to Nufialagah Mawufemor Kobla Nornyigbey, spokeswoman for Nogokpo, in order to set an example for future generations.
He claims that in the past, the ethnic group of Ewes has been disregarded as a result of statements made by a variety of people, including some prominent men of God.
On June 6, 2023, Mr. Nornyigbey declared on Joynews’ Pulse: “We the Ewes are peaceful people, we are loving people, and we are caring people; our yes is our yes! We Ewes have endured years of contempt in a variety of forms. Another man of God once claimed that the Volta Region is like “Xorse viede, 3gbo viede” (literally, “a little faith, a little fetish”), where people hear about it but don’t take the time to conduct the necessary research. We’ve been treated poorly for a very long time, but we’re trying to be peaceful.
