
The so-called “Ofori-Atta Must Go” caucus demanded the immediate dismissal of the Finance Minister due to the present economic crisis during a press conference on October 25, 2022.
But their meeting with the president resulted in an agreement that, before being dismissed, Ofori-Atta will wrap up initial negotiations with the International Monetary Fund and oversee the presentation of the 2023 budget and its authorization.
