

Recall that in June 2023, Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, the head of Perez Chapel International, ran afoul of the Chiefs of Nogokpo after referring to the region as the “demonic headquarters of the Volta Region” in a sermon.
The chiefs and people of the area were offended by his remarks, and the man of God was given a 14-day ultimatum to appear before them.
The traditional leaders persisted notwithstanding Archbishop Agyinasare’s later clarification that he was taken out of context.
