Mohammed Kudus, a Ghanaian midfielder, scored in the 34th minute after Jordan Ayew’s free kick hit with his head.
Guesung Cho struck a quick brace in the second half to tie the score at 2-2 between South Korea and Ghana with approximately 30 minutes to go.
But Kudus was once more listed on the scoreboard.
He gave Ghana a 3-2 lead in the 68th minute with a low strike from the left foot inside the box. It was Ghana’s game-winning goal.
