4 FIFA World Cup moments involving Black Stars in 2022

The FIFA World Cup is a thrilling event every year. It has been a sporting event that spreads delight to people all over the world ever since it began in 1930.

The World Cup in Qatar withstood all the criticism and delivered what is undoubtedly one of the best tournaments ever, in spite of all the negative headlines that preceded the 2022 edition.

As a participant country, the Black Stars of Ghana experienced a significant amount of this passion. There were a number of unforgettable moments for Ghanaian football supporters at the match even though the team did not go past the Round of 16.

1. Mohammed Kudus of Ajax became the first Ghanaian to score two goals in a World Cup match at the 2022 tournament in Qatar when he scored twice against South Korea.

After the South Koreans rallied from being two goals behind, the important player gave Ghana the lead. After Southampton defender Mohammed Salisu had given the Black Stars the lead, he also scored in the first half.

In the 24th minute, Ghana took a 1-0 lead. Mohammed Salisu scored in a scramble in the area after South Korea were unable to remove the ball from danger.
