She said that using public funds to support the project was never planned by the government.
“We were informed when we were contacted that the state was never intended to fully fund the project. The state will take specific actions, and it was up to the board members to see to it that we raised the funds necessary to construct the Cathedral. It was never intended for the government to cover the entire cost “She emphasised.
Her responses follow Bishop Dag Heward-Mills’ disclosure about his exclusion as a trustee of the National Cathedral. Heward-Mills is the founder of Lighthouse Chapel International.
