We have register over 18.6 million voters currently- Jean Mensa

There are currently over 18.6 million registered voters on the register, the Electoral Commission has revealed.

The body has also recorded 778,447 new voters in the recent limited registration exercise.

Chairperson, Jean Mensa She disclosed this when she appeared before Parliament on the commission’s preparations for the upcoming December 7 polls.

According to her, a mop-up exercise is scheduled for Thursday, August 1, 2024, to Saturday, August 3, 2024, in all district offices and the newly created Guan district to ensure that all eligible voters are registered.

She noted the voter exhibition exercise has been rescheduled to August to accommodate this mop-up exercise.
