An audio clip purporting to be of Mavis Hawa Koomson, the MP for Awutu Senya East, criticizing Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the MP for Assin Central and potential NPP flagbearer, on a WhatsApp platform has surfaced.
Hawa Koomson is heard accusing Kennedy Agyapong of being a braggart who uses the support he provides to people to disrespect them in the popular voice note published by One Ghana TV on YouTube.
She claims that Kennedy Agyapong, a businessman and well-known NPP financier, should not have offered to aid her because of his loudmouth.
“I am not one of them who will accept his assistance so that he can go out and shout for all to hear. When he announced he was giving away cars in 2012, I asked Butey about it, and he said I had to pay a modest fee—at the time, GHC 500—to get the car. Because the Toyota Corolla I was using was more powerful than the Hyundai he was planning to give me, I told him I wouldn’t pay.
