In order to address the problem of youth unemployment the nation is facing, he said that job creation will be his top priority.

Kennedy Agyapong told the media on June 21, 2023, following the submission of his candidacy paperwork at the party headquarters, “Previous politicians had failed to address the problem adequately despite the abundance of resources bestowed upon Ghana.”

He claimed that over the years, the government and several administrations had faced considerable difficulties related to unemployment.

He pleaded with the people to have faith in his talents, highlighting his track record of keeping his word.

“I have to admit that the difficulty facing the government and succeeding governments for the past 23 years has been unemployment.

The statement made by Agyapong was, “I want everyone to believe in me—those of you watching, to believe in me that whatever I say, by the grace of God and with good health, I deliver.”

He claimed that based on his vast experience as a politician and legislator, he has identified unemployment as a crucial issue in need of immediate treatment.

With 23 years of political and parliamentary experience, I can say with confidence that unemployment is a major issue. In order to take this country ahead, we must ensure that job possibilities are created, especially for young people.
