Human rights group Rightify Ghana warned about the hazards and dangers the “Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill” that is currently before parliament will pose to the lives of members of the LGBTQ+ community in a lengthy Twitter thread.

The group called Sam George, the primary sponsor of the measure, a “liar” for saying that Ghanaian LGBTQ+ people want same-s3x marriage.

Sam George was described to as a failed politician and a national embarrassment by the British-Nigerian gay pastor Reverend Jide Macaulay for allegedly spreading untruths about the LGBTQ community.

Sam George lacks the fundamental wisdom in comprehending human sexuality, claimed the founder and pastor of House of Rainbow CIC in a tweet. He is a failing politician, a national embarrassment, a security risk, and he required animosity to further his career. His justification is illogical. LGBTQ individuals in Ghana are not want marriage; instead, they are requesting safety from violence, the ability to congregate, the pleasure of their lives, and the best possible healthcare.
