The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, GCAA, has prohibited a Delta Airlines airplane with enlistment N195DN, from traveling to Ghana.
The Authority said, the choice follows the disappointment of the Airline organization to research and resolve specialized issues with respect to the airplane being referred to, which left a few Accra-bound travelers, including Ghanaians, abandoned at the JFK air terminal on July 24, 2022.
GCAA in a letter dated August 19, 2022, and addressed to the “Responsible Manager” at Delta Airlines said, “following the occasions of thirteenth August 2022, when your airplane with enrollment N195DN had to get back to door because of a specialized issue, a group of Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) reviewers were entrusted to direct an examination on the conditions encompassing this event.”
