Chef Smith on GWR cook-a-thon attempt: he finally apologises, social media users react

Ghanaian Chef Ebenezer Smith, also known as Chef Smith, recently admitted in an interview to falsifying a Guinness World Record (GWR) certificate.

He confessed to modifying a certificate found online from the Guinness World Records website, inserting his own details.

When questioned about the forgery, Chef Smith explained that he had long admired Guinness World Records and decided to create a record for the longest individual cooking marathon, claiming to have cooked for 820 hours.
