
Ameyaw Anas After losing his defamation action against Kennedy Agyapong, the member of parliament for Assin Central, Anas has recently come under fire from a segment of the public.
In a recent ruling on a defamation lawsuit brought by Anas, the Accra High Court’s presiding judge chastised him for allegedly engaging in “investigative terrorism” rather than investigative journalism.
The journalist also came under fire for his “Galamsey Economy” documentary, which named Charles Adu Boahen as a suspect and resulted in the former minister’s dismissal. Some claimed that the journalist had set up the former minister.
