Trainee nurses applaud Bawumia’s prompt intervention and rejoice over allowance payments.

This week saw the actualization of this resolution in the form of trainees receiving their much anticipated allowances, demonstrating the government’s commitment to fulfilling its promises and inspiring confidence in and gratitude for Dr. Bawumia’s leadership.

While on a tour of the Bono Region earlier this month, Dr. Bawumia made a promise that the government will provide GH¢177 million to the Ministry of Health by Thursday, May 16, 2024, to settle outstanding debts owing to nursing trainees nationwide.
