From January 2, 2023, prices for petroleum products are anticipated to decrease across the nation.
This comes after certain significant Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) started lowering rates at different pumps.
According to checks made by GhanaWeb Business with a few OMCs, GOIL has decreased the cost of its petroleum products by roughly 8%.
For instance, gasoline is now available at GH12.40 a liter, a decrease of about GH1. On the other side, diesel is now selling at GH14.60 per litre, a decrease of GH1.50 pesewas.
While this is going on, TotalEnegies, another OMC, has also changed its prices to reflect a decrease in the cost of petroleum products starting on January 2, 2023.
