Mahama promised that the NDC would be committed to putting farmers’ welfare first and making sure they succeed.

This time, I want to reassure our farmers that the incoming NDC administration will put their welfare first and work nonstop to make sure they have the tools and assistance they need to prosper. We will keep funding the prosperity of our farmers because they are the foundation of our economy. On this momentous day, I offer my sincere congratulations to all Ghanaian farmers.

At the University of Mines and Technology in Tarkwa, Western Region, on April 39th, farmers and fishermen will be honored in a number of categories for their contributions to Ghana’s agricultural sector.
