The Deputy Registrar of the Pharmacy Council, Dr. Daniel Amaning, explained the situation on Hitz FM. “The Pharmacy Council is not a law enforcement agency.

Nobody is arrested by us. Dr. Amaning emphasized that the Council did not directly arrest Fella Makafui, saying, “We are not the police.”
Dr. Amaning affirmed that the Council is looking into her.

He voiced concern about things being sold on social media that are not authorized, especially by unauthorized individuals or businesses.

He brought up a recent incident that happened in April at the Accra Mall, where social media influencers Dulcie Boateng and other Snapchat users were detained for allegedly selling a large number of illegal medications.
