Diana Asamoah, a gospel musician, allegedly took GH₵4,000 from her mobile money wallet. As a result, she arrested the pastor.

Diana, however, acknowledged that the process that allowed her to save money and bring the offender to justice was made possible by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s digitalization initiatives.
She exposed the shocking betrayal by her assistant pastor in a video that was posted on social media.
He was in charge of translating her sermons into English and providing her with other assistance.
“He usually goes on his knees to beg, and I forgive him,” she said, expressing her dismay at the recurrent transgressions.
Asamoah highlighted the contribution of Vice President Bawumia’s digitization effort and credited technological improvements for the theft’s successful conclusion.
“Thanks to digitalization and the power of the Holy Spirit and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, everything is now simple,” she said.
