In contrast to what  Bro. Sammy thinks, having kids is more important than getting married

Brother Sammy, the controversial gospel musician, is at it again, this time with a statement that touches on the taboo topic of marriage.

If you ask Bro Sammy, who considers himself the Nation’s Prophet, he recently told JoyPrime that having kids is better than getting married.

He elaborated on his stance by noting that although kids will always have your back, a spouse will often “varnish” over issues. Thus, he explained;

To me, raising a family is more important than finding a life partner and tying the knot. Simply said, if you become bedridden, your kids will be right there and your spouse may opt to find someone else.

Brother Sammy told a story to illustrate his point about a man who did nothing when his pregnant wife started having contractions. Many formerly happy couples, he said, have become antagonistic.

This caused him to liken marriage to a prison and advise prospective inmates to take their time and prepare thoroughly.

Getting married is hip. My only piece of advice is to take your time when choosing a spouse. Clearly, this is a confined space. Don’t feel pressured to get married just because others have done it and are now passing away. Marriage is a major cause of death.
