Ghana will shortly transition to a 5G network — NCA

Ghana will auction 5G spectrum to provide 5G services, according to a statement made by the National Communications Authority (NCA).
JJoe Anokye, the Director General of the NCA, claims that preparations are in place for Ghana to transition to the 5G network.
He added that there is now spectrum available for 5G and that a formal announcement about the switch to 5G will be made in 2024.
During the 12th R. P. Baffour Memorial Lectures at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Anokye stated, “Plans are well underway to implement 5G.” We’ve made sure there is enough spectrum available for 5G.
