Every time you sweat—whether from working out, utilizing a hot tub or sauna, or simply being outside on a hot day—your body loses fluids. As your muscles heat up, your body loses heat through perspiration. To stay cool, you’ll need to consume a lot of water.

When your hunger strikes

Do you feel thirsty or hungry? Most people don’t realize they are actually thirsty while they are hungry. The perception of hunger and thirst is comparable in the brain. Wait a short while after consuming water to determine whether it fulfills your hunger.

Upon awakening

The first thing in the morning is one of the greatest times to consume water. Your body has been fasting for a long time. Squeeze half a lemon into your morning glass of water for a powerful dose of potassium, vitamin C, and antioxidant phytonutrients for a little pick-me-up.

Exercise: Prior to, during, and following

To replace the fluids lost through perspiration, water is necessary. Drink two liters of water every ten to fifteen minutes while working out. Drink two to four litres of water after working out.
