At a private ceremony held at the company’s headquarters in Accra on January 25, 2023, Fido Micro Credit (FIDO) Ghana, a financial institution with its headquarters located in Accra, announced Deloris Frimpong Manso, also known as Delay, as its official ambassador for its creative campaign, “Better Score, Bigger Loans.”
FIDO Ghana’s “Better Score, Bigger Loans” program seeks to revolutionize the financing landscape by giving people the chance to raise their credit scores and, as a result, be eligible for larger loan offers. The decision to link Delay with the campaign is a calculated attempt to increase its exposure and reach a wider audience.
Fido Ghana’s Head of Marketing, Kofi Owusu, expressed his happiness that Delay would be the face of the new campaign. “This is the first time that Fido is doing something like this,” he said. After sorting through the plethora of influencers and brand ambassadors, we decided Delay was a good fit to represent our company. We are here today to officially introduce her as our brand ambassador.
Known for her significant influence in Ghana’s entertainment sector, Delay conveyed her appreciation for being selected as the face of FIDO Ghana’s most recent campaign. “I am appreciative, and thank you for selecting me,” she said. This program is evidence of FIDO’s dedication to empowerment, innovation, and providing Ghanaians with limitless options. She continued by urging everyone to join Fido by just dialing *998*02# to gain access to their lending program.
