An ex-insurance adjuster from Florida admitted guilt in a scheme to rob drug dealers.

Weber, of Tampa and Lakeland, was employed by Berkshire Hathaway from 2013 to 2017; State Farm from 2015 to 2018; and United Services Automobile Group Association as recently as February 2022, according to the licensee search page maintained by the Florida Department of Financial Services. She was an adjuster for all lines.

According to the federal Hobbs Act, which addresses robberies that interfere with interstate trade, Weber has been charged. According to her plea deal, she could get up to $250,000 in penalties, 20 years in prison, and property confiscation.

Reginald Roberts, also known as “Rudy,” is 22 years old and is from Lakeland. Nathaniel Keith Carr, also known as “Nate,” is 28 years old and is from Riverdale. According to an arrest report submitted in federal court, the case started in February 2021 when sheriff’s officers were called to two home invasion robberies, one in Lakeland and one in Plant City at a suspected marijuana grow house. The robbers made off with jewellery, cash, drugs, and cell phones.

Early in 2021, the FBI began looking into further house invasions, burglaries, and assaults, and they identified at least four males as potential perpetrators. The FBI agents claimed in the paper that Hudson frequently wore a white bag during the robberies, which was one feature that assisted in identifying the culprits.
