According to an arrest report submitted in federal court, the case started in February 2021 when sheriff’s officers were called to two home invasion robberies, one in Lakeland and one in Plant City at a suspected marijuana grow house. The robbers made off with jewellery, cash, drugs, and cell phones.
Early in 2021, the FBI began looking into further house invasions, burglaries, and assaults, and they identified at least four males as potential perpetrators. The FBI agents claimed in the paper that Hudson frequently wore a white bag during the robberies, which was one feature that assisted in identifying the culprits.
