According to John Kumah, the government won’t impose a Bank of Ghana recapitalization fee.

The BoG posted losses totaling GHC60.81 billion for the 2022 fiscal year, prompting the Minority in Parliament, among others, to urge for the resignation of Governor Ernest Addison and his two deputies for what it called mismanagement.

In the fiscal year 2021, a profit of GHC1.23 billion was reported.
