- A/R: SIX DEAD IN FATAL ROAD ACCIDENT AT ADANSI DOMPOASE
A tragic road traffic accident occurred at Adansi Dompoase, near the new ECG office, claiming the lives of six individuals. The Ghana National Fire Service received a distress call at 1243hrs and promptly responded to the scene.
Fire personnel, led by ADOII Samuel Mensah, arrived at 1003grs and found a VIP bus (GW 8455-23) and a Benz Sprinter (GS 6383-20) involved in an accident. The Sprinter was completely destroyed, while the VIP bus sustained partial damage.
Rescue operations were completed by 1028hrs, with six people confirmed dead at the scene. One injured person was rushed to the Fomena Government Hospital for emergency care. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
