7 harmful behaviors you engage in immediately following meals that must cease

Consuming fruit

Fruits are undoubtedly healthful, but eating them immediately after meals can cause indigestion. The optimal time to eat fruits is two hours before or after a meal because it will speed up metabolism and improve nutritional absorption.

Bathing

Always avoid taking a bath shortly after a large meal because it slows down digestion. This is due to the fact that bathing affects the blood flow around the stomach, which during a shower flows to other parts of the body and impairs digestion.

Consuming tea

Experts note that tea is typically acidic because it contains caffeine, which makes food digestion challenging. In reality, drinking tea immediately after a meal might hinder the breakdown of food molecules and lead to indigestion because it causes the protein content of the food to solidify. Tea consumption after meals can also reduce the absorption of iron. Therefore, it is better to refrain from drinking it after meals.

Exercising

Following a meal with exercise can mess with your digestion. You might even feel like throwing up, have an enlarged stomach, and have loose motions.

Vajrasana is the only exercise recommended after a meal. Experts contend that it facilitates the digestive process. You should stay away from everything else.
