In an interview with OTEC NEWS reporter Maame Akosuah Gyamfuaa Sunday, July 24, 2024, they said, when this initiative is implemented, the government should ensure that it addresses traffic issues, as the collection of these taxes often creates significant slowdown.

Others expressed concerns that some tax collectors often keeps a portion of the collected funds for themselves, therefore , they suggested introducing an electronic payment system to ensure transparent and direct transactions.

They urged the government to invest in road construction and maintenance once the toll initiative is implemented, to ensure that the additional revenue is used to improve the road network.
