
Ifeanyi Ndieze will now spend the rest of his life behind bars after being charged with putting his finger in the private part of a 4-year-old child at a religious function.
He was incarcerated on Tuesday by an Ikeja Offenses and Domestic Violence Court, according to Pulse.ng.
According to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Justice Abiola Soladoye found that the prosecution had adequately proven the l assault by penetration charge against Ndieze, which violated Section 261 of the Lagos State Criminal Law of 2015.
Ndieze allegedly committed the offence at No. 18 Salau Street in Surulere, Lagos State, on October 29, 2020, according to the Lagos State Government, which brought charges against him.
The defendant is a compulsive liar because he attempted to deny the offense, Justice Soladoye declared when delivering the ruling.
“This behavior is unacceptable.
The offender is sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a four-year-old child.
The judge continued by describing how Ndieze attacked the youngster sexually.
“The youngster recognized the defendant as the man who carried her during a church service and abused her by putting his finger into her private part
“The kid was brought home, and while her mother washed her, she began to bleed violently. Doctors at the hospital advised that the incident be reported to the police.
