He clarified that the institution lacked a mortuary, so after the doctor determined his child was dead in the womb, he was told to locate a cemetery on his own.
Here’s what transpired: just as we were about to leave, the doctor informed us that the hospital was unable to handle the dead infant because it lacked a mortuary. It would be necessary for us to transport the infant in a box to a cemetery and handle the body’s disposal. Thus, they put the infant in a box for us.
With his family at his side, MOGmusic was forced to comply with the hospital’s order. He was handed a box containing his dead child.
“I had to unlock the trunk, put the deceased person inside, shut it, and go. Upon arriving home, I handed my mother my car so she could take the body to the mortuary. After the death certificate was produced, we proceeded to bury the infant.
Given that many of them were anticipating the child’s arrival, MOGmusic had the difficult task of explaining to friends and family why the infant was not present at the burial.
