“There are a few policy choices that must be made about the accessibility of the spectrum. The dynamics of the industry make it extremely complicated; we don’t want to move forward, and only one organization will be able to obtain 5G. That conversation is still going on. I am positive that the formal announcement will be made by 2024.”
According to him, the action is intended to assist service providers in expanding their offerings to rural areas and support the government’s efforts to digitize government operations.
