Ghana card is the only accepted document for 2024 elections- EC 

The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa has stated that the Electoral Commission

insists on maintaining the Ghana Card as the sole identity document in the 2024 elections.

Addressing Parliament yesterday, she added that the Presidential candidates are to pay 100,000

Ghana cedis whilst Parliamentary candidates pay 10,000 Ghana Cedis as filing fees.

‘’The EC is committed to ensuring a level playing field for all political parties in the lead- up to the 2024 elections’’, she said.
