The leader of the “I Reign Christian Ministry” in Lagos, Nigeria, Bishop Oluwafeyiropo Daniels, was found guilty of s3xually abusing the lady of God, age 23.

The conviction was delivered by Justice Rahman Oshodi, who oversaw the Ikeja Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence Court in Lagos. Daniels was also given an extra three years in prison for the sexual assault of a 19-year-old church member.

The bishop was given a life sentence after the prosecution convinced the court of the fundamental elements of the two crimes. Judge Oshodi vehemently attacked Daniels’ actions, calling him a liar and stating that the preacher had shown complete disregard for the truth.

In delivering the verdict, Justice Oshodi recognized that one of the allegations concerning the rape of another church member included a consent element, which resulted in the count being acquitted. Daniels was found not guilty by the judge of trying to rape a church member.
