A 54-year-old man from Ghana breaks the record by walking from Takoradi to Accra.

Lawrence Manful too was experiencing it for the first time.

It wasn’t an easy voyage for me, to tell you the truth. But I promised myself that I would be a part of this history, therefore I worked hard to finish it,” he said.

Henry is not doing this for personal gain; rather, he is doing it to spread gospel pamphlets and generate money for charity while showcasing his God-given strength.

Based on his previous walking experiences, he claimed that the 224 kilometers from Takoradi to Accra was an easy walk.

Here’s an entertaining way to enjoy the separations.

Some people believe that I am doing this for fame, but I believe that it is more spiritual. It’s spiritual because every time I go on a long-distance hike like this, I see the glory of God. The goal this year was to raise money for an Accra orphanage, Smith continued.

Traveling from Takoradi to Accra wasn’t without its difficulties.

“I truly wanted to give up. I was exhausted because the sun was really hot and made moving difficult before we arrived in Mankessim. However, I reminded myself that I had to press on after I made a commitment to finish this adventure,” Lawrence said.

They are prepared to overcome the obstacles and are even considering traveling further miles in spite of the setbacks.

“We will train for just two months and go to Nigeria if someone wants to sponsor us from here because we have the experience now.”
