  • A 48-year-old woman in Assin Asamankese, Central Region, was reportedly attacked with hot soup over a 20 Cedis debt dispute[tps_start_button label=”Start slideshow” style=”” class=””].

 

 

 

The victim, Adwoa Ketsewa, borrowed 20 Cedis worth of fish from a fish seller named Ekua Dermaa to prepare food for her family. When the fish seller came to collect the debt, the negotiations turned sour, and she allegedly grabbed a pot of hot palm nut soup that the victim was preparing and poured it on her.
