After being detained for stealing bitter kola and other commodities, two armed robbers accused their actions on the devil and begged for forgiveness.

According to Pulse.ng, the suspects, Onyenachiya and Chigbo, stole money, phones, ATM cards, and packets of bitter kola from an unidentified woman.

According to reports, the bandits were apprehended in the Amichi community in the Anambra state of Nigeria’s Nnewi South Local Government Area.

The victim was allegedly raped by the crooks who used a pump action weapon in addition to stealing her of her possessions.

A video of the two suspects being questioned, their pump action gun, and the pilfered bitter kola packets surfaced online.

Additional investigation into the event is still underway, according to Anambra State Police Command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Tochukwu Ikenga.

The footage showing two people purportedly confessing to being criminals is known to the leadership.

“I will make contact with local residents to find out what transpired. He is cited as saying, “I have also forwarded the information to the local DPO for appropriate action.”
