
“I have it on good information that a businessman tried to do something here. According to what I’ve been informed, he arrived here and attempted to resolve the issue in his own way, but was turned off by the locals and warned not to get involved. So he left,” Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu said in an interview with Joy News.
“It’s come before me with special relation to the attempted bribery. We’ll check to see if it’s true, and if it is, we’ll determine the person’s motivation. These issues do arise occasionally.
“You recall the situation with the minister who was proposed to testify before the screening committee. There was a claim that he had tried to influence or bribe several individuals. Finally, it was discovered to be—I won’t say falsehood—an untruth,” he continued.
