Popular Ghanaian highlife artist Kofi Kinaata has acknowledged that his success in the music industry was aided by the backing of the High Grade Family.

According to him, he exploited Samini’s fan base to get recognition in the industry after signing.

Kofi Kinaata asserted on Radio XYZ that Samini’s friendship helped him grow in his profession by getting him onto stages he didn’t even deserve to be on.

“My family and I are and always will be in high school. I was crying in my small place when they came to abduct me, which helped me grow.

As soon as I joined, Samini’s fans became mine. During his performance, Samini gave me the opportunity to prove myself, and I did not disappoint him. It’s like when Sarkodie signs a musician; right away, the musician has the support of his fan base,” he revealed.
