The face of journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has been shrouded in controversy but many believe his face has already been exposed by Kennedy Agyapong, Assin Central Lawmaker.
In 2018, Kennedy Agyapong released a series of images showing pictures alleged to be Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

The lawmaker who contested the New Patriotic Party flagbearer Primaries launched an attack on the popular journalist after a documentary dubbed Number 12.
The documentary implicated Ex Ghana Football Boss Kwesi Nyantakyi in bribery. Nyantakyi was banned from Football activities by FIFA for 15 years.
The images showed a man with thick eyebrows and moustache with afro hair. Another image showed a man in hat wearing frame glasses.
Who Watches the Watchman
On several occasions, Mr Kennedy Agyapong has criticised Anas’s method of investigations, describing it as a serious threat to Ghana.
He, therefore, carried his threat to use a video to expose what he described as Anas’s transgressions. In 2023, a court found the video had merit.
The 45-minute video depicted two separate meetings in which a narrator claimed that some of the footages were attempts by Anas to shield certain criminals from facing the law.
