Losers of 2024 elections should accept the outcome, there would be transparency- Jean Mensa

The Commission has refuted these allegations, stating that the videos are misleading and false.

During the presentation of the Democracy Cup to the Electoral Commission by Parliament’s leadership, Jean Mensa reassured the public of transparent elections and urged political leaders to accept the election results.

“So like the referee of the match this afternoon we commit to ensuring transparency in all aspects of our work. Our activities are open, as I mentioned, right from the registration through to the declaration of elections, everything is done in the full glare of the public, and nothing is hidden and we will commit to this to maintaining and ensuring that level of transparency across all aspects of our work,” she explained.

Jean Mensa also called on the parties to accept the election results once the polls are concluded.

Additionally, the Electoral Commission has announced that the 2024 Voters Exhibition Exercise will take place from August 20 to August 27, 2024
