After losing, a Ghanaian official takes a selfie with Son Heung-min.

After South Korea’s World Cup ambitions were dashed by a loss to Ghana, Son Heung-min was in tears, but that didn’t stop one of the rival coaches from attempting to take a photo with him.

After their 3-2 defeat, South Korea seemed destined to leave Qatar at the group stage.

They rallied from a 2-0 deficit to tie the game, but Mohammed Kudus’ goal in the 68th minute gave Ghana the victory.

As a result, South Korea must defeat Portugal in their last Group H game if they are to advance.

After the final whistle, Tottenham’s Son—who is competing in the competition while wearing a protective mask due to a fractured eye socket—went through a gamut of emotions.

After referee Antony Taylor sounded the whistle for full-time and denied South Korea the opportunity to take a corner, Son and a few of his teammates reacted violently.

Coach Paulo Bento’s protests resulted in a red card, and when he attempted to comfort an irate Son later, his hand was swatted away.
