In a video posted on Douyin, China’s equivalent of TikTok, the victim’s father stated that he went missing in the afternoon of March 10. The boy most likely passed away that day, according to the local administration.
“On March 10 at 15:00, my child was still alive and kicking… At 16:10, the father reported, “All of his money was transferred from his phone, and it was turned off.”
He had been “bullied by his three classmates for a long time,” Zang Fanqing, the family’s attorney, claimed on Monday in a Weibo post.
The three first denied knowing where the boy’s body was buried, but after being questioned by officials, they showed them where it was.
According to The Beijing News, police are still looking into the killing’s motivation.
