Accra Floods Once More

Because of climate change, flooding in May has become commonplace in Ghana, where the rainy season has begun.

Some locals worry that if the rain keeps up, the city may see further floods, although the Metrological Agency predicts that it will rain until Sunday, May 26, 2024.

The city, meanwhile, went back to business as usual yesterday, with stores reopening before 5:00 pm.
