Ten DJs are chosen from a pool of more than 6,000 applicants, and DJ Shagy is one of the finalists who will participate in master seminars, workshops, and networking events.

In addition to giving DJ Shagy possibilities, this recognition brings attention to the increasing talent coming out of Africa. It emphasizes how much African and Ghanaian musicians have contributed to the world of music.
