Mark Woyongo, six others survive gory road accident

Confirmed information reaching Atinka News Upper East regional correspondent, Senyalah Castro Cazo has it that former Member of Parliament for Navrongo Central, Mark Owen Woyongo, has been involved in an accident.

It’s unclear at the moment where the accident took place but sources say, occupants of the vehicle, 6 in number have all survived with minor injuries.

Mr. Woyongo over the weekend was in the region to participate in the National Democratic Congress (NDC), at the Bolgatanga Polytechnic.

He was part of other party bigwigs present at the congress.

Known faces including Isaac Adongo, Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, Clement Speak, Member of Parliament for Builsa South, James Agalga, Member of Parliament for Builsa North were all present.

Other former political appointees of the erstwhile Mahama government were seen at the Congress which saw the reelection of Alhaji Bol-Naba Mumuni, incumbent Upper East regional chairman of the National Democratic Congress.
