I’m not a celebrity – Efia Odo

Actress cum TV personality Andrea Owusu popularly known as Efia Odo has asked her fans to stop calling her a ‘celebrity’ as she does not fall within that category nor deserves to be called as such. 

According to her, she hasn’t done anything to be called a celebrity. She proceeded by saying that personalities like Yvonne Nelson can be referred as celebrities and that she working towards attaining the celebrity tag. 

She further stated that she might be popular but that does not qualify her to be a celebrity . 

Efia Odo is mostly referred by Ghanaians as ‘slay Queen’ and gained popularity by ‘slaying’ on Instagram. 

She dominated the headlines in 2017 since she became famous owning to her provocative dressing and sometimes going completely nude.

She said this in a tweet on her official twitter page @efiaodo. Yvonne Nelson later replied her tweet by branding her as a super star. 

Efia Odo wrote on a twitter page: “I always say I’m not a celebrity. I haven’t done anything deserving to be called a celebrity. Someone like @yvonnenelsongh yes she’s a celebrity. I’m working towards that status. Maybe I’m popular, but not yet a celebrity.”
